Inside, a series of immersive spaces bring design and architecture into dialogue. At its centre lies a Zen courtyard, a tranquil, Japanese-inspired focal point that reflects TOTO Gallery’s values of precision, elegance and connection to nature. Upstairs, a Fritz Hansen showroom laid out in the style of a local apartment gives visitors a sense of familiarity in which to imagine living with the designs.
On the ground floor, one of the most inviting scenes is the Noble One Café—a welcoming space furnished with Fritz Hansen pieces. The silhouettes of Arne Jacobsen’s Series 7™ chairs and Jørn Utzon’s Concert™ lamps catch the eye from the street, drawing visitors inside.
Nikita Stephanie, Co-Founder and Design Director of NN Studio, describes the café as: “An interaction space shaped by the dialogue between a flowing motion of curved plane and structured rhythmic façade. A space that moves with you through the curves, inviting connection and shaping experience. Natural-toned floors and wall finishes providing the iconic Fritz Hansen chairs to anchor the space with timeless elegance.”
Beneath its rippling timber ceiling, the café channels the Japanese concept of Hashi—a “boundary in motion”—with flowing curves that guide guests through the space. Local materials—batu bata brick, terrazzo flooring and earthy tones—add tactility and warmth, grounding the design in its Indonesian context while maintaining a calm, continuous rhythm.
More than a café, Noble One is a place to reflect, connect, and experience how Japanese philosophy, Indonesian craft and Danish design can converge in one fluid expression.
