Banque Lazard

In the heart of Paris’ prestigious 8th arrondissement, the bank of Lazard found their new headquarters. The dated complex at 173–175 Haussmann has been artfully redesigned to feel at once timeless and forward-looking, with a subtle dose of art de vivre.

Perched in Paris’ pulsating epicentre, 173–175 Haussmann has been an institution in French business for centuries. In 2020, the complex was carefully restored in a collaboration between Lazard, PCA-STREAM, and RF Studio.

Reborn from the bones of an outdated office space, Lazard’s new HQ has been designed to embody a timeless yet unpretentious Parisian elegance. Today, the design is simple and bright, with an emphasis on collegiality, warmth, and inclusion. Fully modular, it offers maximum flexibility for its 400+ employees.

In the main lobby, Jaime Hayon’s Ro™ lounge chair adds a simple and calming expression. Aptly named after the Danish word for 'tranquillity’, the chair’s unique form offers space for relaxation and reflection, enticing you to immerse in its curves and take a moment for yourself. The four-legged base is made of brushed aluminium or solid oak with a clear lacquer finish.
