Fritz Hansen x Louisiana Museum of Modern Art

A marriage of art and design

Fritz Hansen is a main corporate partner of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art – one of the most prestigious museums in Northern Europe. The mutually beneficial partnership was born in 2014 out of a shared passion for art and design, and a wish to engage in an open, constructive and inspirational collaboration.

As part of the partnership, Fritz Hansen is the official sponsor of videos in the ‘Architecture & Design’ category on the Louisiana Channel – an internationally acclaimed video platform featuring art, literature, architecture, design, and music, produced by Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. Featuring more than 900 videos, Louisiana's platform instigates conversations through the insights of art and artists, extending beyond the museum’s own walls. While Fritz Hansen sponsors this content, its development is left purely in the hands of Louisiana.

Fritz Hansen has a long history of supporting and preserving the art and culture scene. Over the years, the brand has collaborated with several Danish and international artists, including Zaha Hadid, BIG architects, Henning Larsen Architects and many more.

Located in Humlebæk, Denmark, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art first opened its doors in 1958. The museum was originally intended as a home for modern Danish art, but soon changed its course to cater to a global audience with many internationally renowned works. Today, the museum is also acknowledged as an icon in modern Danish architecture, and is celebrated for its seamless marriage of art, architecture, and landscape.
