GENERAL INFORMATION

Chrome is a metal plating overlaid on metal that gives a decorative, lustrous finish. It is corrosion-resistant and light, making it ideal for use on furniture. Fritz Hansen uses three different chrome surface finishes: mirror, satin and PK – the latter of which is used on PK33™, PK31™, PK25™ and PK20™ designs.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Chrome surfaces are resistant to dirt and liquids, but water can cause the surface to corrode. Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.

CLEANING & STAIN REMOVAL

To clean, wipe with a dry or damp cloth wrung in soapy water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. For stubborn stains, clean with rubbing alcohol.

RUST REMOVAL

We recommend Autosol metal polishing agent, typically available from auto spare parts dealers.

CAUTION

Do not use solvents on chrome plating.
