A LOOK INSIDE THE CONTEMPORARY OFFICE OF MARIE-LOUISE HØSTBO

Marie-Louise Høstbo, Head of Design at Fritz Hansen, knows firsthand the importance of a great workspace – a place to be creative, collaborate and find inspiration. Her own office, situated at the Fritz Hansen headquarters on the outskirts of Copenhagen, has been carefully curated to reflect her own tastes and needs.

Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and wooden accents, her office is brimming with colour, design classics and personal details.

“We spend a lot of our time at work, so it needs to feel both inspiring and welcoming,” she says. “Our workspaces today often reflect a combination of our personal and professional lives. The design must reflect who we are as individuals and our pursuit for quality and sustainable materials.”

Høstbo chose the Pluralis™ table by Kasper Salto as the centrepiece for her space. As inferred by its name, the Pluralis table offers a myriad of possibilities. Characterised by its understated design, elegance and uncompromising quality, it brings a whole new level of functionality to the workspace.

The Series 7™ chair by Arne Jacobsen was also selected for its timeless shape and versatility. An icon in modern furniture history, the chair offers a choice of swivel or four legs base, making it a flexible solution for the office.

Elsewhere, Høstbo picked the pouf by Cecilie Manz. It is aesthetic and functional, offering a relaxed alternative for extra seating.
