FABRICS

The fabric used to upholster Republic of Fritz Hansen™ furniture comes from the leading Danish and Italian suppliers. They design and weave the fabric themselves and develop new fabric in close collaboration with Republic of Fritz Hansen. The suppliers also work with a range of other high quality weavers. The extensive selection is constantly updated with new and relevant colours, patterns and materials. The quality and properties are chosen to suit both furniture for private use and public use, where there is extra emphasis on durability.                                                                                                  

MAINTENANCE

Regular cleaning and maintenance is important in order to keep upholstery looking its best and to prolong its life. Dust and dirt wear the textile and reduces its fire-retardant properties.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                              DAY TO DAY CLEANING

Vacuum frequently ion medium power, ideally every week. Remove non-greasy stains by carefully dabbing with a lint-free cloth or sponge wrung in warm detergent free water. If necessary clean by dabbing with soapy water . Rinse of the soap by dabbing the fabric with lukewarm water.                                                                                                                  

WARNING!

Do not rub the material with force. This could damage the fabric and cause loss of colour.
