VICO MAGISTRETTI    1920-2006

Vico Magistretti was born and educated in Milan.

His award-winning designs are exhibited at design museums worldwide; he has worked together with many prestigiuous companies throughout the world. Magistretti is an honorary visiting professor at the Royal College of Art in London.

Approx. 80% of Magistretti's products designed since the early sixties are still in production. His immense success is attributable to the simplicity and modesty in his easy, elegant form idiom based on established and natural shapes - yet with the respect for cultural and historic values and traditions.
