The MoMA project

was completed end of last year.

The entire museum was completely renovated and was closed for a long time. Now it’s reopened and the majority of the furnishing is labelled Fritz Hansen.

The museum has been redesigned and expanded by Yoshio Taniguchi. Due to an extraordinary cooperation between the architect, the Danish consulate, foundations and manufacturers the museum has become a sublime showcase for Danish design.

The furnishing includes furniture the Kjærholm daybed PK80 in a special MoMA height, Oxford chairs in the library, Series 7 in the cafes, Plano and PK54 tables, Kevi chairs, PK9 side chairs.

The new MoMA is located at 11 West 53 Street, New York, NY 10019-5497, and it’s definitely worth a visit also for the works of art.
