RED LABEL FURNITURE

Now you can be sure that your upholstered furniture is originally upholstered furniture from Fritz Hansen. On all our upholstered furniture you will now recognize a red Republic of Fritz Hansen label to guarantee that this is indeed an original.

Background

As you may know, quite a few of Fritz Hansen’s products are often copied, produced and sold in many countries around the world. It has therefore been a request by customers that we are able to be able to prove the authenticity of our furniture - in a way that goes beyond the usual stickers that are normally attached to all furniture.

Recognizing a genuine Fritz Hansen product will be easy from now on, and as such it is a guarantee that out customers have bought an authentic product and not an inferior copy. This ”label of origin” creates added value to the furniture and even includes the year the product was manufactured. Therefore you will always be able to tell when your product was made and the value of the item will be easier to ascertain.

Which products will be labelled?

All upholstered furniture will be labelled with the red label during the next 6 months starting October 16th 2006
